The OnSkin app has been named the Best in the Apps & Software / Education, Science & Reference category, winning the Webby Award from the Academy Vote and the Webby People’s Voice Award from the Public Vote in the 28th Annual Webby Awards Internet Celebration.
Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet.
This year, the Webby Awards received nearly 13,000 entries from all 50 US states and over 70 countries worldwide, highlighting brands like Apple, Google, and Netflix among the winners. IADAS, comprised of renowned Internet industry experts, nominated and selected The Webby Award Winners across eight categories, such as Websites and Mobile Sites; Video; Advertising, Media & PR; Apps & Software; Social; Podcasts; Games; AI, Metaverse & Virtual. Public voting collected over 2.2 million votes cast by over 550,000 people.
OnSkin is a science-backed cosmetic scanner that enables the safety evaluation of cosmetics, decodes ingredient formulations, and analyzes if the products align with users’ skin needs and concerns.
