We are looking for a Director of Brand and Communications. In this role, you will be responsible for AIBY’s positioning in the market, employer branding, both external and internal PR & communications as well as media relations. It is a critical leadership position, and we’re looking for a true strategist who can step in and bring global awareness of the AIBY brand to the next level, directly contributing to the company’s overall success.
What you will do:
- Craft global Brand and PR strategy for AIBY Group to grow the company and its products’ visibility, increasing brand awareness globally with a focus on the US market
- Own the integrated communication strategy to establish alignment with business goals and ensure AIBY brand consistency across all channels (both external and internal communications)
- Build, cultivate, and manage relationships with top-tier media. Collaborate with the in-house Brand/PR team to create a compelling AIBY brand story and tell that story through media
- Be responsible for creating a high-performing, in-house Brand & PR function by leading and managing the in-house team of Public Relations, Social Media, and Brand Specialists, coordinating their efforts, guiding them and helping them grow, and nurturing the talents in your team
- Strategize for external major industry events
- Collaborate with the design team to create a corporate brand book and identity
What you should have:
- At least 7+ years of Brand communications & PR experience with a focus on the mobile apps industry and global markets (the US in particular)
- Experience in building a Company Brand from scratch
- Experience in successful collaboration with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to drive a company brand that helps with talent attraction and hiring, employee engagement and recognition, and demonstrating the company culture and values
- Experience in building a robust and efficient in-house Brand & PR engine
- Team leadership experience (supervised and managed teams of at least 3-5 Brand & PR specialists)
- A decent network of media contacts with a successful track record of publications in top-tier media (US & EU)
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills, strong in pitching and engaging the audience and in handling objections
- Advanced English and advanced Russian/Ukrainian/Belarusian
