We’re looking for an accountant to manage and process the company’s financial documentation.
What you will do:
- Record all financial transactions and ensure accurate tracking of income and expenses for analysis
- Maintain transaction logs and manage the general ledger
- Reconcile accounting records with bank statements
- Ensure timely payments to suppliers and other counterparties
- Prepare tax reports and ensure compliance with US tax laws and financial reporting standards
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, automate tasks, and enhance record accuracy
- Train staff on financial documentation basics to ensure compliance
What you should have:
- At least an associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Experience with accounting software (Xero, Microsoft Excel) and ERP systems (Oracle)
- Understanding of GAAP and US tax laws, especially for payroll and tax reporting
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in identifying discrepancies
- Organizational skills and ability to multitask, especially during reporting or audits
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills, especially in coordinating with finance, audit, or tax departments
- Analytical skills to identify and prevent errors, and improve accounting processes
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in handling financial data
